So here goes! I’ve been getting a lot of requests to document the food that I cook for Yusuf, so I shall start with…..home made Pesto Pasta recipe and step by step! Because Yusuf lovessss spinach and the best part was that it took me less than 10 minutes to cook this dish!

Continue readingIt’s only after I had Yusuf and listened to our Paed and a few parenting talks that I realised you can actually start putting on moisturizer on your child since young! The earlier you practice this, the better. Honestly I never knew, coz I’ve always thought babies come out with perfect soft skin and allll.
I myself never used to like moisturising my skin, because I didn’t like the feeling of lotion on me so I thought that perhaps Yusuf would also feel rimas since he was only a baby, plus he hates it when we touch his face. Next baby I’m gonna start since the day it he/she was born hahaha! 😛

I remembered during the first MCO back in March, Yusuf had turned himself over then, and when we had his check up at the Paed’s, his Doctor said that soon he’d be commando crawling to which I replied “Ohhh, like Captain Ri?” 😛
Dr I: “He’ll be commando crawling, and then crawling, sitting up and pulling himself up and usually babies will start walking between 12-18 months.”

So, Yusuf is sleep trained and because of that he kinda lives off a schedule everyday because he wakes up sharp sharp within the same time range everyday. Babies loveeee schedule….apparently! And it’s a big bonus for my sanity too 😀

We found out at his 5th month check up that Yusuf had eczema. It is most apparent on his face. Truth be told, we thought it was because we were always kissing him on his cheeks lol! 😀
