….which also means IVF.
Yusuf is an IVF (in vitro fertilization) baby, and I know it is still much a taboo topic amongst many but I’ve always believed that if this is shared, it may (or many not) help a future mother-to-be out there who is willing to try IVF but isn’t sure how to feel about it.
I had written this previously in my own blog in 3 separate parts:
- Part 1: http://aneconomathemathstisticiansthoughts.blogspot.com/2020/01/part-1-when-our-hope-was-put-on-hold.html
- Part 2: http://aneconomathemathstisticiansthoughts.blogspot.com/2020/01/part-2-year-in-operating-theatre.html
- Part 3: http://aneconomathemathstisticiansthoughts.blogspot.com/2020/01/part-3-miracle-baby-name-yusuf.html
The most important message that I always share is that IVF is not a last resort – even after IVF you can try to conceive naturally InsyaAllah, and at the end of the day if going through something so emotionally and physically challenging means you have a chance to hold a bundle of joy in your arms, then make prayers and seek guidance from God to let you keep this baby.
Because I for sure did not regret going through the 4 years of trying which had led me to having this happy lil baby in my arms! 🧡
